Reflection for the Week
The message of Ezekiel 25-48 is one of hope and renewal. God’s judgment on the nations underscores His sovereignty over all the earth, while His promises to Israel reveal His deep desire to restore His people. The vision of dry bones coming to life reminds us of the power of God’s Spirit to bring life out of death, and the vision of the restored temple assures us of His presence with His people. These promises find their ultimate fulfillment in Jesus, who brings resurrection life and makes us a dwelling place for God’s Spirit.
