Reflection for the Week
Ezekiel 1-24 paints a sobering picture of sin’s consequences, but it also reveals the heart of a God who longs for His people to turn back to Him. God’s glory departs from the temple because of Israel’s unfaithfulness, yet His desire is always for restoration. As we see God’s holiness and justice, we are also reminded of His mercy and His call to repentance—a call that points us to the ultimate redemption found in Jesus Christ.
