Paul’s Letters (2026)
Paul’s letters to Timothy provide both direction and encouragement. Timothy, a young church leader in Ephesus, faces many challenges, including false teachings that lead people astray, abuses of the church’s generosity, and divisive leaders. Paul urges a return to sound teaching-the truths in which Timothy was raised. He also offers practical guidance on the qualifications for church leaders and how members of the church should treat one another. This instruction is not only for Timothy, but also for us as we seek to understand the church today.
