John’s Letters (2026)

What is love? This is not only the question asked in a catchy 90s song, but a question people have wrestled with for millennia. In his letters to the house churches in Ephesus, the Apostle John gives a simple yet profound answer: God is love.

We come to know this God of love through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. Yet God is not only love-He is also light. His light exposes what is true and enables us to walk in the truth.

If we truly know this God of love and light, then our lives should reflect His character. We should share His love with others and shine His light in the world around us.
