Week 10 Reading Guide

Holiness and the Ultimate Atonement

Leviticus 16-27

Big Idea: God provides the Day of Atonement, when the high priest would make a sacrifice for the sins of the people. This sacred day pointed forward to Jesus, our perfect High Priest, who offered Himself as the final atonement for sin. God also calls His people to holiness, not as a means to earn His favor, but as a response to His saving grace. In Christ, we are both forgiven and set apart to reflect His character to the world.
