Reflection for the Week
David’s reign and the promises made to him point us to the ultimate fulfillment of God’s kingdom in Jesus. The covenant with David is not just about an earthly king, but about a heavenly kingdom that will never end. Jesus, the Son of David, is the King who reigns forever, and through Him, we too are invited into God’s eternal kingdom.
