Week 9 Reading Guide
Holiness in Worship
Leviticus 1-15
Big Idea: God establishes laws for sacrifices and purity, showing the seriousness of sin and the need for atonement. These rituals were a temporary way for Israel to be cleansed and remain in God’s presence, but they pointed forward to Jesus, the perfect sacrifice who fully and finally atones for sin. Through His blood, we are made clean, not by repeated sacrifices, but by His once-for-all offering.
